Flags to be Flown Half-Staff Tuesday for Serviceman Killed in Iraq

LANSING Governor Jennifer M. Granholm today ordered that United States flags throughout the state of Michigan and on Michigan waters be lowered for one day on Tuesday, August 22, 2006, in honor of Army 1st Sergeant Aaron D. Jagger, of Hillsdale, who died August 9 while on active duty in Iraq. Flags should return to full-staff on Wednesday, August 23.

Governor Corzine Orders Flags To Fly At Half-Staff To Honor U.S. Army Specialist Hai Ming Hsia

TRENTON In honor of U.S. Army Specialist Hai Ming Hsia, Governor Jon S. Corzine signed the following Executive Order calling for the United States and New Jersey flags to fly at half-staff on Wednesday, August 23, 2006.

Governor Orders Flags Lowered for Palmer Soldier

(Juneau) ? Governor Frank H. Murkowski today ordered Alaska flags to be lowered to half staff in honor of Spc. Shane W. Woods, an Alaskan soldier who died on August 9 in Iraq. Spc. Woods and two other soldiers were killed when an improvised explosive device detonated near their vehicle in Ar Ramadi, Iraq, during combat operations.
